Golang Job: Sr Backend Developer - Node.js

What can you expect if you join us?

• You'll be working on one of our API first SaaS solutions for fiscalization

• You'll be part of a team formed out of 3 - 5 people with an end2end delivery responsibility. You will be involved in the whole product lifecycle from development, deployment and operations the software you and your team will create

You will be a fit for our team if

• You have at least 5 years of experience in building scalable API based systems using Node.js - ideally in combination with TypeScript

• You are comfortable working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases and know when to choose which

• You are familiar with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka

• You care about software quality and reflect that in the code you write (clean code)

• You can effectively communicate abstract ideas and concepts to others

• You are allowed to work within the EU Borders

• You are, preferably, located in/near Vienna, or within a ±2h time difference and are ideally allowed to work within EU borders

• You are fluent in English and German (C1 or higher)

You will impress us if

• You have worked with Golang before or would like to learn more about it

• You have used GCP and / or Kubernetes (GKE) in the past

• You are interested in GitOps and Infrastructure as Code

• You are familiar with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture

• You dare to lead, and you're curious to discover new ways of solving complex problems

• You are willing to develop yourself continuously, personally, and professionally
